Dear visitors,

Instead of the standard Hello World post, we decided to give you a gift. Today is the first day of spring and we prepared a special gift to all Wordpress users – a new,
free Wordpress theme with spring motives.

Sakura is a 2 column wordpress theme and it is widget ready. If you notice some bugs, please let us know.
We named it “Sakura” which means Cherry Blossom in
Japanese. Feel free to download the theme and use it on your blogs.

Thank you and enjoy in spring. :-)

EDIT:
Instead of downloading this version (1.0), please read
this post and
download the updated version (1.1) that contains multiple fixes and enhancements.

Beautiful!

One thing I noticed with the comment boxes in Firefox is the part that holds the actual comment, on the left side the box is about 1px wider than the shaded shape it is in.

If I need to make the area that holds the entries a little wider, what do I need to change (I don’t know much about code)? A lot of the pictures on my site are 500px wide (Flickr default size) and if I use this theme I get a scroll bar under the entry because the image is a few pixels too wide for the entry area.

Hi super rats,

Thanks, we’re glad that you like the theme so much. It’s quite easy to change the width of the comments box, just find the following section in the CSS:

#main .entryBox .entryDescription,
#main .entryBoxAlt .entryDescription {
width: 510px; /* change this value */
overflow: auto;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-right: auto;
margin-bottom: 0px;
margin-left: auto;
}

and change the width to the appropriate value for your website.

Please let us know if you need more help.

I really like this theme but I don’t like the scroll bars that appear when an image larger than the main posting area is displayed. Is there a code I can put in the css file that would force images to constrain themselves to be a little smaller than the size of the posting panel? Pinkbeauty-10 wordpress theme does this. It’s my current theme and I love that feature but I’d like to be able to use this theme as well.
