New update for Sakura Wordpress theme (version 1.1)
We fixed some bugs that were noticed in the previous version:
- Fixed images so that they are shown properly in MacOS X (see screenshot to see an obvious bug in previous version).
- Added more space to the bottom of each post to be able to show more categories there (more than max. 3 or 4 possible in previous version).
- Adapted the header so that you could add your photos/images there. It is now more “bulletproof” and images that you eventualy add there will be shown properly.
- This screenshot shows you how to change content in the header (put your own text and/or images).
If you notice some problems with this theme, please let us know so that we can fix them.

I just tried to use this theme and got the following:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: language_attributes() in /homepages/46/d162097876/htdocs/blog/wp-content/themes/sakura-10/header.php on line 2
Cute theme though.

Is it possible to add a second sidebar?

Hello Dana,
You need to update your blog to Wordpress 2.1.2, if possible (this theme is developed for new Wordpress). If not, you should simply remove the following line from header.php:
< ?php language_attributes(); ?>This procedure is described here.

Hello April,
It should not be to hard to add the second sidebar. We plan to make and release another version of this theme that will have three columns (two sidebars), but we’re not sure at the moment when we’ll have enough time to do it.

I love this theme, but I can’t get the .jpeg files to work for me. Is there somewhere I have to put them outside of the theme folder? I’ve tried every image folder I can think of, but just can’t seem to make it happen. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi!
I tried using the theme, but for some reason people could’t post reactions anymore in Firefox, only in Internet Explorer 6. Do you have any idea how that’s possible?
By the way………..I really love the theme!

The theme is superb! It has all the things I like in a theme: it’s simple and clear and it looks very nice.
Is it possibile to have this theme for other blog platform? I’m interested in having one version of your Sakura for Blogspot/Splinder.

Hi there, I love this theme. Cannot find where to or how to change the title at the top of the screen.. the one which comes up default as “website.com”.
